Incase you missed it, Karanambu is home to over 400 species of birds and more are added each year. With a range of habitats, Karanambu attracts birds year round, drawing enthusiasts in search of: capuchin bird, Agami heron, Bearded tachuri, Zigzag heron, Crested doradito, Golden manikin, Crestless Curassow and many more.

There are 5 species of king fishers, 3 species of pootoo and half a dozen Night Jars including Little, White Tailed and Naconda.
